Why Ueki Imaoka? Meguro needs a direct “pipeline” to the ruling party to get things done.
The Limitations of Independent Members: ❌ Cannot Submit Bills: A single independent cannot propose legislation (requires 20+ supporters). ❌ Limited Voice: Debate time is allocated by party size. Independents have almost no chance to speak. ❌ No Budget Power: Without access to ruling party policy meetings, it is extremely difficult to secure budgets for our local community.
