目黒区主催の「めぐろ防災フェスタ」に行ってきました。
地域の防災意識の向上と、災害時に役立つ実践的な備えにつなげるために開催されている総合防災訓練です。
会場では、はしご車の乗車体験、陸上自衛隊によるカレーライスの炊き出し、トイレトラックの利用体験、災害時に配布される6リットルの応急給水袋を背負う体験など、さまざまな展示や体験が行われていました。
雲一つない青空に向かって、ぐんぐん伸びるはしご車は圧巻！
実際に乗車体験をした子どもたちにとっても、忘れられない貴重な経験になったことでしょう。
そして、陸上自衛隊のカレーライス！
これがまた絶品で、個人的にはミシュラン三つ星級のおいしさでした！😋
楽しみながら防災について学び、いざという時にどう行動するかを考える、とても有意義な機会となりました。
私たち東京都鍼灸師会目黒支部・目黒区鍼灸師会も、災害時における鍼灸師およびあん摩マッサージ指圧師による救護活動について、目黒区と連携し、協力体制を築いていけるよう協議を進めています。
災害が起きた際、地域の皆様のお力になれるよう、行政との連携や関係づくりを大切にしながら、引き続き取り組んでまいります。
日頃からの備えと、地域で支え合う力。
防災について改めて考える一日となりました。
【Meguro Disaster Prevention Festival】
I visited the Meguro Disaster Prevention Festival, hosted by Meguro City.
This annual comprehensive disaster-prevention event aims to raise awareness of disaster preparedness and help residents gain practical knowledge and experience for emergencies.
There were plenty of activities and demonstrations, including a fire truck ladder ride, curry rice prepared by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, a hands-on experience with a mobile toilet truck, and an opportunity to carry a 6-liter emergency water bag used during disasters.
The fire truck ladder reaching high into the cloudless blue sky was truly spectacular! I imagine the children who had the chance to ride it had an unforgettable experience.
And the curry rice prepared by the Self-Defense Forces? Absolutely delicious — Michelin three-star quality, in my humble opinion! 😋
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about disaster preparedness while enjoying hands-on experiences.
The Tokyo Acupuncturists Association – Meguro Branch and the Meguro Acupuncturists Association are also working with Meguro City to strengthen cooperation for providing emergency care by acupuncturists and licensed massage practitioners in the event of a disaster.
We will continue our efforts to build strong relationships with the local government so that we can support our community when it matters most.
Disaster preparedness begins with everyday awareness and a community that looks out for one another.
A truly meaningful day!
