I once had the opportunity to talk with a member of the Self-Defense Forces.
He said: “We are polishing everyday the sword that we will never use.”
My heart was full.
At the same time, I realized once again that they were doing a precious job,
And I couldn’t help but feel awe.
I pray that the 10members will be able to return to their families as soon as possible.
かつて、自衛隊の方とお話する機会がございました。
こう仰っていました。
「私たちは決して抜く事のない刀を日々磨いています。」と。
心に重く響きました。
同時に尊いお仕事をされている事を改めて実感し、畏敬の念を抱かずにはいられませんでした。
一日も早く、十名の隊員様がご家族のもとへ帰れますように祈っております。
